Hello from Afghanistan,

I have been overwhelmed with the love and the boxes that you all have been sending. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that you all have sent to me and my Marines. I want to thank Operation Buckeye for all the boxes that you have sent. I will be writing back the 1st Grade class that sent us pictures from Elementary School. I know that I say Thank you and I try to write each and every one of you all, I just get so busy with the things that go on around here that I can easily forget my own name sometimes.

We have been out here for over 6 months now, and the love, prayers, notes, cards, and boxes filled with items are greatly appreciated. We have 6 more months to go and I am excited to see this deployment hurry up and finish so I can get home to my little girl and my house!
