The Road Captain has responsibilities and expectations imposed upon them and Tail Gunners in conducting safe group rides. Anyone wishing to become a Road Captian or Tail Gunner must meet certian requirements. These are:

Must be a current member in good standing of STAR-Madison Chapter 166

Must hold a valid motorcycle license

Must maintain current motorcycle insurance in compliance with State law

Must have attended a minimum of two STAR of madison group riding orentation courses

"Highly Recommended" - Completion of MSF Basic and/or Advanced Mototcycle Safety course
