The September meeting was called to order by president Donnie Kleven. He purposely started the meeting 10 minutes late to let member have "visit time" with one another. He stated that is would be a good time to get to know new members better. 10 members where present. Deb gave the treasure report and reported that we have $ 407.01 in the check book. There was expense for the food drive at the Midwest BBQ and we collected $125.00 from donations. John Pahs won the 50/50 raffle and donated it to the chapter and the chapter paid $24.00 to John for this months donation to the troops, so at the close of the meeting the chapter had $423.01 money balance. Member decided to put together another shirt order and will be placed shortly. Get your shirt request to Deb or Donnie as soon as possible. John Pahs received donations and money to purchase item and ship two boxes to troops. John also discussed 2011 Star Days Vet ride and if any members have suggestions for a ride between 5 - 50 miles for this, please contact John. Donnie reminded members to be thinking of officer postions. Friday night fish night will be at the 1855 at downtown Cottage Grove at 6:00 PM. No ride is planned as of now for the October meeting. Let Donnie know if you are interested or have an idea. 50/50 raffle was won by John Pahs won and he donated his portion to the Chapter. 6 members and four bikes went on the over night ride to LaCrosse and it was a beautiful ride.
